In occasione della giornata della Memoria ,ricorrenza internazionale celebrata il 27 gennaio di ogni anno , l’amministrazione Arcidiacono per commemorare le vittime dell’Olocausto, ha promosso una esposizione di volumi sullo shoah nuovi e antichi, all’interno delle sale lettura del fondo Moderno della biblioteca Santa Caterina – sede di Casa Cultura , che nonostante le restrizioni anti covid resta aperta alle visite degli studenti’, esibendo il Super Green pass e indossando la mascherina. “La biblioteca riserva sempre un’ attenzione particolare ai nostri giovani e bambini – dichiara il sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono-e per questo rinnova l’ invito anche agli insegnanti “. Le visite guidate sono coordinate dalla bibliotecaria comunale Elisa Lo Coco. “Per richiedere una visita guidata le scuole – spiega l’assessore alla Pubblica Istruzione Rosanna Giannetto , possono fare inviare una semplice richiesta alla mail : casaculturacaterina@gmail.com “ Il nostro obiettivo – conclude l’assessore Giannetto – è quello di creare un ponte costruttivo con il nostro servizio bibliotecario e avvicinare gli studenti ancora di piu’ alla lettura”.
