E’ stata indetta dal Comune di Monreale la gara per il progetto di riqualificazione del Quartiere “Ciambra”. Il termine per la presentazione delle offerte scade il 29 aprile, se tutto procederà regolarmente entro maggio potrebbero essere assegnati i lavori . Lo rende noto il sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono il quale ha dichiarato che per tale progetto è disponibile già un finanziamento di 1,8 milioni di euro concesso dall’Assessorato Regionale delle Infrastrutture e della Mobilità. L’intervento prevede il rifacimento della rete idrica, della rete fognaria, della pavimentazione e della illuminazione artistica. L’iter amministrativo e tecnico è seguito dall’assessore ai servizi a rete Geppino Pupella con una squadra di dipendenti dell’ufficio tecnico comunale .L’opera fortemente voluta dagli assessori della Giunta Arcidiacono e dal presidente del consigliocomunale Marco Intravaia ,prevede il rifacimento della via Cappuccini inserita nel progetto di riqualificazione che si andrà a collegare con il quartiere Carmine dove già da pochi mesi sono iniziati i lavori e aperti i cantieri.
