Il Servizio idrico Integrato del comune di Monreale rende noto che sono rientrati nella norma i parametri dell’acqua proveniente dalla sorgente di Giacalone dopo la verifica effettuata dall’ASP di Palermo poiché dalle analisi è stata riscontrata la conformità dei parametri imposti per legge.
Le zone interessate in località di Giacalone comprendono le seguenti vie: Via S.P. 20 e traverse (tutte le vie P.G., Via Brignolo, Via Cannavera); nella frazione di Pioppo via Provinciale, in particolare da via Polizzi (compresa) al bivio Di Gristina e traverse (compresa la Via Passo D’Api). Per motivi precauzionali infatti, il sindaco Alberto Arcidiacono aveva emesso una ordinanza.
Non è ancora utilizzabile per uso potabile, invece, nonostante il servizio idrico integrato, abbia effettuato numerosi interventi, l’acqua della condotta proveniente dalla sorgente Valle Taio che approvvigiona la parte bassa della frazione di Pioppo e l’acqua proveniente dal Pozzo Rinazzo che serve la frazione di San Martino delle Scale. In queste zone interessate l’amministrazione resta in attesa delle analisi per la risoluzione definitiva della problematica.
