Le ultime due giornate della 63ma Settimana di Musica Sacra di Monreale hanno visto protagoniste le scuole monrealesi, teatro per un giorno della grande Musica dei solisti e delle ensembles dell’Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana.
Lunedì 25 una matinée musicale particolarmente ricca, con tre concerti dedicati ad altrettanti istituti scolastici, fissati per le ore 11. Nella Chiesa di Santa Teresa del Bambino Gesù per l’I.C. “Francesca Morvillo”, il violoncellista Enrico Corli è stato impegnato in un programma basato sul concetto di accordatura e scordatura, mentre l’auditorium dell’I.C. “Novelli – Veneziano” ha ospitato lo Zyz Quartet (Francesco Ciancimino flauto, Gabriele Calogero Palmeri oboe, Claudia Gamberini violoncello, Riccardo Scilipoti clavicembalo), che ha eseguito pagine di Johann Sebastian Bach e del figlio Carl Philipp Emanuel. Nella Chiesa del Sacro Cuore si è svolto infine il concerto destinato all’I.C. “Guglielmo II” e che ha visto il Trio Stamitz (Fabio Mirabella violino, Giuseppe Brunetto viola, Domenico Guddo violoncello) proporre pagine di Bach, Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf e Beethoven.
Martedì pomeriggio è stato il turno dell’I.C. “Navarra”, che ha ospitato il Quintetto Almeyda (Angelo Cino al clarinetto, Francesca Gabriella Iusi e Salvatore Tuzzolino al violino, Domenico Guddo al violoncello)
che ha proposto musiche di Mozart, Handel e Meyerbeer.
Gli alunni delle quattro scuole monrealesi, adeguatamente preparati dagli insegnanti, hanno partecipato con vivo interesse e attenzione all’inconsueto appuntamento, che ci auspichiamo venga istituzionalizzato come parte integrante delle prossime edizioni della Settimana, e che non è stato il solito Concerto “classico”, ma una vera e propria lezione-concerto interattiva in cui musicisti di grande esperienza hanno illustrato ai ragazzi le caratteristiche principali degli strumenti nonché delle forme e del periodo di riferimento del repertorio musicale proposto.
Presenti i Dirigenti Scolastici degli istituti comprensivi, la Dottoressa Francesca Giammona per la “Morvillo”, il dottor Marco Monastra per la “Veneziano-Novelli”, la dottoressa Iole Nappi per la “Guglielmo II”, e la dottoressa Patrizia Roccamatisi per l’IC “Navarra”che hanno espresso soddisfazione per il coinvolgimento delle scuole nella prestigiosa manifestazione musicale di scena a Monreale e per l’attenzione mostrata dagli alunni, e non nascondono l’emozione per la ripresa di attività che arricchiscono il curriculum scolastico, e che fanno respirare aria di “normalità” oltre che di grande Arte, dopo un lungo doveroso periodo di stop dovuto alla situazione di emergenza legata al Covid.
L’augurio più sentito è senz’altro che gli studenti, alcuni già frequentanti gli indirizzi musicali, molti altri alle riprese per la prima volta con l’ascolto di pagine di musica classica vengano ispirati dalla straordinaria bellezza di questi strumenti e di un repertorio intramontabile e che questo possa instillare loro il positivo germe della curiosità e avvicinarli maggiormente al più universale dei linguaggi, la Musica.
